Fill Up Our Tanks
Herndon Village Network invites you to help Fill Up Our Tanks! Our fleet of volunteers will be generously giving of their time as they drive Herndon Seniors to appointments, family obligations, errands, and so much more during the colder months of the year.
If you would love to support this cause but don’t have the time or availability to become a driver, please consider spreading some holiday cheer by donating to our Fill Up Our Tanks campaign today. A gift of $25 will fill a volunteer’s tank or sponsor a senior member by gifting them a year of rides. Donations are great, but sharing this message is also greatly appreciated!
MONDAY FEBRUARY 5TH - Community DOLLars Event
Stop by Weird Brothers Pizza or Brama Italian Cuisine and donate to HVN and DOLL Homes will give you a voucher for a FREE coffee or FREE cheese pizza.
Supplies are limited so don't delay!
When we come together as a community, we all win.
About Herndon Village Network
The "village” idea started more than ten years ago in Boston, Massachusetts, and has spread quickly throughout the country. Many localities are now organizing villages to meet the needs of the local population. The fundamental idea is for entire communities helping seniors, who can no longer manage all the areas of their daily lives. With assistance they may be able to remain in their homes, in familiar surroundings and maintain a higher quality of life. The greater Herndon area is a perfect locality for such an organization. Volunteer drivers use their time and talents to assist seniors with transportation.
